Emina Himesama, pseudonym of a Chilean author and illustrator born in Santiago in 1990, is a prominent mangaka living in Viña del Mar. She started her professional career in 2016 and gained fame in 2020 by publishing her work ALFA on the Webtoon platform, accumulating over two million reads. ALFA is a science fiction story set in the year 2090, blending futuristic elements with romance. In 2024, Editorial Planeta published the first volume in print, solidifying her presence in the Chilean manga scene.

Besides ALFA, Emina has worked on other projects like Tweeling!, a school comedy published in fanzine format in 2015-2016. Her artistic and narrative style is influenced by mangakas like CLAMP and Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.
