Michal Shanin is an expert in diagnosing and managing learning disabilities, learning strategies, literacy, emerging literacy and counseling for young children. She is the co-author of the books A Word to the Wise and From Pattern to Hebrew. Vera Yogev is a senior counselor in the Department for Post-Primary Education of the Israeli Ministry of Education, a teacher trainer in the Haifa District and manages the post-primary school counselor program. She teaches in the Shaanan College's B.Ed. program. Vera Yogev has many years of experience in counseling teachers about literacy and reading comprehension. She teaches at the Oranim Academic College of Education and the University of Haifa. She is the co-author of the books A Word to the Wise and From Pattern to Hebrew. Vera Yogev has participated in the writing of many curriculums for teaching Hebrew to Israeli students.
