When Chester finds himself home alone often because his wife Abigail is doing extensive traveling for her company business, he happens to be walking by a pet shop and discovers a Pup he named Brooklyn while watching a TV show later that day. Chester had Brooklyn for about a week before Abigail returned home from a trip and she wanted him to immediately get rid of the dog and in due time is always mean to Brooklyn and also had a fidelity problem. Due to the aliens could not return Brooklyn and Chester back to earth and wanted to retain Brooklyn indefinitely to study this extraordinary animal, they provide great accommodations. This story is about how an earth person and his talking dog transcend into the new life in an Alien civilization and play important roles in great action that tests their abilities to the bitter limit and how the talking dog and his "papa" Chester grow closer together doing incredible journeys that only a talking dog could help develop. It also conveys the notion of how such a talking dog could impact a marriage.
