Dr. Neeraj Kumar Kushwaha is an accomplished Agroforestry Scientist with over 17 years of professional experience in nursery management, agroforestry model development, and land-use planning. Currently serving as Senior Technical Officer (Agroforestry) at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Shivpuri (RVSKVV, Gwalior), he has contributed significantly to the promotion of sustainable agroforestry systems and carbon sequestration research.He holds a Ph.D. in Agroforestry from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, and is a certified master trainer under the Agriculture Skill Council of India. Dr. Kushwaha possesses expertise in CO₂FIX carbon modelling, agroforestry system design, and resource-based livelihood planning. He has published 26 research papers, authored 6 books, and delivered numerous training programmes, radio talks, and demonstrations for farmers.Recognized with multiple awards including the Young Scientist Award (ENEA, India, 2022) and several national-level accolades, Dr. Kushwaha continues to work towards integrating scientific agroforestry practices for climate resilience, livelihood enhancement, and carbon management in Central India.
