Eduardo Alfredo Sacheri (Castelar, Argentina, 1967) is an Argentine writer and historian who has combined teaching with a distinguished literary career. His early stories, inspired by soccer, gained popularity on Radio Continental and led him to publish anthologies and novels. His most recognized work, The Question in Your Eyes (2005), achieved international fame after being adapted into the film The Secret in Their Eyes. In 2016, Sacheri was awarded the Alfaguara Novel Prize for The Night of the Usina. His literary production and collaborations in various media have established him as one of the most influential voices in current Argentine literature.
