Synopsis "El Evangelio Según san Juan (in Spanish)"

"Estos (signos) han sido escritos para que creáis que Jesús es el Mesías, el Hijo de Dios, y para que, creyendo, tengáis en él vida eterna" (Jn 21,31). Juan describe los fines del evangelio por él recogido: suscitar la fe en Jesús, reconociéndolo como el Mesías, el enviado de Dios para la salvación de toda la humanidad; más aún, reconocerlo como el Hijo de Dios, de modo que, una vez habiéndolo aceptado, los creyentes consigan la Vida. Pero el cuarto evangelio es también, por antonomasia, el evangelio de la revelación de Dios como Padre y, asimismo, el evangelio del Espíritu Santo.

Salvador Carrillo Alday (Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, 1927), missionary of the Holy Spirit, was ordained a priest in 1953 in Rome, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Theology (1954). He later graduated from the École Biblique Française de Jérusalem (1956) and earned a doctorate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Commission of the Vatican (Rome, 1967).

Professor of Old and New Testament at the Theologate of the M.Sp.S. and professor of New Testament at the Higher Institute of Ecclesiastical Studies (1967-1981), he is the founder and promoter of the Holy Spirit Biblical Schools (EBES), with many hundreds of students committed to biblical pastoral work.
