Ryunosuke Koike, born in 1978 in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan, is a former Jōdo Shinshū Buddhist monk and current master of Tsukuyomi Hall in Kanagawa Prefecture. With a degree in Educational and Information Sciences, he has sold over a million copies in Japan, standing out for his ability to make Buddhist teachings accessible to a broad audience.

Among his most notable works is "The Practice of Not Thinking" (2013), a non-fiction book that offers techniques for living more consciously. Another notable work is "Happy without a Ferrari", where he addresses the importance of focusing on the essentials and freeing oneself from the tyranny of money. His writings focus on spirituality and self-help, based on Buddhist principles to promote a fuller, more conscious life.
