Synopsis "Gentle Words"

for SSA and organ or piano Setting a text by Sister Polly M. Rupe, Gentle Words is a comforting reflection on the power of kindly spoken words, both for the giver and receiver. Built on a supportive keyboard part, the choral parts alternate between unison and homophony creating a soothing, yet expressive, piece that gently lilts like a lullaby.
