A través de un mensaje anónimo en una red social, la narradora de la esta historia entra en contacto con Sara, una joven que afirma haber sido víctima de un abuso y cuyo testimonio es puesto en duda por su entorno más cercano. Tras ofrecerle su ayuda y abrirle las puertas de su intimidad e incluso de su casa, Sara va ocupando cada vez más espacio en la vida de la narradora, hasta convertirse en una presencia asfixiante, que requiere cada vez de más tiempo y atención y que, finalmente, deja paso a una compleja trama de engaños y falsas verdades que la hará cuestionarse de qué es capaz esa joven aniñada y vulnerable por conseguir su atención.

Tras ganar el Premio Biblioteca Breve en 2019 con su primera novela, Elvira Sastre regresa a la ficción más descarnada con una historia de sororidad, identidad y engaño entre dos mujeres que, en última instancia, se pregunta por las relaciones de poder que se establecen en un acto tan aparentemente altruista como ayudar a los más necesitados.

(Segovia, 1992) At fifteen, she launched the blog Relocos y Recuerdos, and writes incessantly, sharing her verses through social media. She has published multiple poetry collections and collaborates with musicians, singer-songwriters, and other poets; she has also published books that combine illustration and poetry. Moreover, she balances her poetic career with writing and translation. She has translated poets like Rupi Kaur or Gordon E. McNeer and novelists like E. Lockhart or John Corey Whaley. Recently, her work and her efforts in favor of artistic creation have been recognized with the La Sombra del Ciprés Award, granted by the Cultural Association of Novelists from Ávila. Currently, the writer fills theaters and concert halls with her poetic recitals and shares her poetry, experiences, and personal world with readers through social networks.
