Synopsis "Los Cuatro Mundos (in Spanish)"

'Agua; Tierra; Aire; Fuego.

Eduardo Mazzitelli (1952–2024) was a prominent Argentine comic book scriptwriter, known for his prolific career both in Argentina and Europe, especially in Italy. Born on November 4, 1952, in Lomas de Zamora, Buenos Aires, Mazzitelli began his career at Editorial Columba, where he published his first comic strip, "El crimen del río", in Fantasía magazine. He later joined Ediciones Récord, collaborating on the Skorpio magazine, in both its Argentine and Italian versions, which allowed him to establish himself in the European market

His partnership with the artist Enrique Alcatena led to some of the most emblematic works of modern Argentine comics, such as Acero Líquido, Travesía por el laberinto, Metallum Terra, Shankar, and Pesadillas. These stories are characterized by their rich imagination, combining elements of epic fantasy, mythology, and adventure

Throughout his career, Mazzitelli worked with renowned artists like Gerardo Canelo, Lucho Olivera, Rubén Meriggi, and Enrique Breccia, among others. In addition to his work as a scriptwriter, he was co-founder and co-director of Hacha magazine, an influential publication in the Argentine comic scene

In his later years, Mazzitelli lived in Carpintería, San Luis, where he continued working and actively participated in comic conventions. He passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving a lasting legacy in the comic culture
