When a door labeled 0 starts appearing where it shouldn't, Bug learns the motel doesn't grant miracles. It trades them-quietly, cleanly, and with rules that turn grief into currency. The more she resists, the more the motel escalates: voices that sound like the dead, contracts that rewrite themselves, and "witnesses" who become the only thing standing between a person and erasure.

To get out, Bug will have to do the one thing the motel can't file: refuse its logic in public-before it stamps her name onto the hook wall and collects what it's owed.
