Founded in 2009 by Markus Persson, known as "Notch", the company has expanded its catalog with titles such as Minecraft Earth and Minecraft Dungeons. Throughout its history, Mojang AB has been awarded multiple times. In 2011, it received the Audience Award and the Grand Prize at the Independent Games Festival for Minecraft.
