Synopsis "Monstrous Omnibus"

In 1816, Mary Shelley, John Polidori, and Percy Shelly, along with Lord Byron, participate in a gothic horror writing challenge that inadvertently seeds the creation of dangerous literary monsters, including Grendel, Medusa, Frankenstein's Monster, and the vampyre, Lord Ruthven.

Soon after arriving in today's strange world, the monsters solicit help from a reluctant Joe Reynolds, a nebbish college professor of mythology, along with two of his students, to help them return home. In doing so, they must all confront their own murky natures, dangerous urges, and monstrous pasts. And they need to do it quickly if they're going to stop a mad occultist from unleashing more literary horrors and ushering in a dark and chaotic new world order.

If they succeed, they just might save the world. But if they fail... our book is done.

Using classic literature characters, Monstrous Omnibus explores the shifting lines between good and evil, challenging preconceived notions of literary archetypes and examining the power of choice in shaping one's destiny.
