Synopsis "No Logo. 10Th Anniversary Edition: No Space, no Choice, no Jobs (Picador) "

A Tenth Anniversary Edition of Naomi Klein's No Logo with a New Introduction by the Author NO LOGO was an international bestseller and a movement bible (The New York Times). Naomi Klein's second book, The Shock Doctrine, was hailed as a master narrative of our time, and has over a million copies in print worldwide. In the last decade, No Logo has become an international phenomenon and a cultural manifesto for the critics of unfettered capitalism worldwide. As America faces a second economic depression, Klein's analysis of our corporate and branded world is as timely and powerful as ever. Equal parts cultural analysis, political manifesto, mall-rat memoir, and journalistic exposé, No Logo is the first book to put the new resistance into pop-historical and clear economic perspective. Naomi Klein tells a story of rebellion and self-determination in the face of our new branded world.

Naomi Klein was born on May 8, 1970 in Montreal, Canada, into a family of political activists. Her childhood was marked by social commitment and creativity: her grandfather was an animator at Disney and a unionist, and her parents emigrated to Canada from the United States in protest against the Vietnam War. Klein studied philosophy and literature at the University of Toronto, although she temporarily left her studies to work as a journalist at The Globe and Mail

Klein is one of the most influential voices in contemporary critical thought, recognized for her analysis of corporate power, globalization, and the climate crisis. Her work combines investigative journalism, essay writing, and social critique, addressing issues such as brand capitalism, neoliberalism, media manipulation, and climate justice. She has been a university professor, columnist in international media, and co-director of the Centre for Climate Justice at the University of British Columbia.

Among her most famous works are: No Logo (1999), Fences and Windows (2002), The Take (2004), and The Shock Doctrine (2007).
