Claudia Rueda nació en Bogotá, Colombia, ciudad en la que vive actualmente. Estudió derecho y se graduó con una tesis sobre derecho romano en ilustraciones. Ha escrito e ilustrado más de un decena de libros, algunos publicados originalmente en inglés. Fue finalista del Premio A la orilla del viento de Libro ilustrado. Algunas de sus obras han sido traducidas al inglés, coreano, chino y sueco. The sky has grown dark and Mama Bear knows it's time to hibernate, but the baby bear doesn't want to. He doesn't want to be inside a narrow cave. And since he's a brave bear who thinks he knows it all, he's not afraid of being alone, hungry, and cold. But since he's a good bear beneath it all, he doesn't want to leave his mom alone.
