Those affected experienced time distortion and terror, and a huge number were now in a medically induced coma, warehoused throughout the city like zombies. The CDC accomplished nothing but to come down with the condition. A steady parade of people in tinfoil hats came to his office to offer their diagnosis. Maybe they were right. The condition was kicking everyone's butt and he had no idea what it was. People were going insane just thinking about the condition. Some had dug up graves and burned bodies. The press was being an unruly beast.
