Este libro es una mezcla de historias cortas de los habitantes de Glen, al final de casi todas las historias hay diálogos entre los miembros de la familia Blythe. La historia de ubica antes de la primera guerra y al inicio de la segunda guerra. No voy a mentir, no hay mucho de nuestros queridos personajes, pero lo poco que conseguimos no tiene desperdicio. Nosotros veremos como la primera guerra les afectó y como lo están haciendo en esta segunda guerra. Ojalá y algún día podamos tenerlo en español.
