Negi Haruba was born on July 27, 1991, in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. This Japanese mangaka made his debut in 2014, at the young age of twenty-three, in Shônen Magazine with his work Karma of Purgatory. However, his real breakthrough came in 2017 with the popular series titled Go-Tôbun no Hanayome, known in Spain as Las quintillizas, a romantic comedy serialized in Shûkan Shônen Magazine from August 2017 to February 2020. Thanks to the success it garnered and the anime adapted by Tezuka Productions (available on the Crunchyroll platform), he won the first prize, along with To your eternity, by Yoshitoki Ôima, in the shônen category of the 2019 Kodansha Manga Awards. He currently publishes Ranger Reject in Shônen Magazine, by Kodansha, and has been nominated in the 2021 Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishô awards in the category of best printed manga.
