Primera novela del narrador chileno Andrés Montero, quien luego publicó el premiado libro de cuentos La muerte viene estilando y la novela El año en que hablamos con el mar. Por Tony Ninguno obtuvo el X Premio Iberoamericano de Novela de la Ciudad de México Elena Poniatowska en 2017.

Writer and oral storyteller. He is the author of the novels Tony Ninguno and Taguada; the short story book La muerte viene estilando; the essay “Why Tell Stories in the 21st Century” and four youth books. He studied the Master of Literary Creation at BSM-UPF, in Barcelona. He has been published in Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Denmark.

Together with Nicole Castillo, he directs the Escuela Casa Contada and hosts the TV show “Los cuenteros en ruta”.

In 2017, he won the X Ibero-American Novel Prize Elena Poniatowska of Mexico City for the novel Tony Ninguno, and in 2022 he received the Art Critics Circle Award, the Santiago Municipal Award, the Language Academy Award, and the Best Literary Works Award from the Ministry of Cultures for La muerte viene estilando; both works published by the same publisher.
