(Bogotá, 1973) is the author of the short story collections Los amantes de Todos los Santos and Canciones para el incendio (Biblioteca de Narrativa Colombiana Award) and the novels Los informantes, Historia secreta de Costaguana, El ruido de las cosas al caer (Alfaguara Award, Gregor von Rezzori-Città di Firenze Award, The International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award), Las reputaciones (Royal Spanish Academy Award, Archbishop Juan de San Clemente Literary Award, Casa da América Latina Award in Lisbon), La forma de las ruinas (Casino da Póvoa Literary Award) and Volver la vista atrás (Mario Vargas Llosa Biennial Novel Award). Vásquez has also published two collections of literary essays, El arte de la distorsión and Viajes con un mapa en blanco, and a brief biography of Joseph Conrad, El hombre de ninguna parte. He has translated works by Joseph Conrad, Victor Hugo, and E. M. Forster, among others. He has won the Simón Bolívar National Journalism Award twice. In 2012, he won the Roger Caillois Award in Paris for his body of work. In 2016, he was named Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters of the French Republic, and in 2018 he received the Order of Isabel la Católica. His books are published in 30 languages. He is a columnist for the Spanish newspaper El País.

Leila Guerriero (Argentina, 1967) is a journalist. Her work is published in various media outlets across Latin America and Spain: La Nación and Rolling Stone, from Argentina; El País, from Spain; Gatopardo, from Mexico, and El Mercurio, from Chile, among others. She is the editor for Latin America of the Mexican magazine Gatopardo. She published the books Los suicidas del fin del mundo, Frutos extraños and, at Anagrama, Una historia sencilla, Zona de obras, Plano americano, Opus Gelber. Portrait of a Pianist, La otra guerra and La llamada. In 2010, her text "El rastro en los huesos", published in El País and Gatopardo, received the CEMEX+FNPI award. Nona Fernández (Nona Beatriz Fernández Silanes, Santiago de Chile, 1971) es escritora, dramaturga y guionista, una de las voces más incisivas de la literatura chilena contemporánea. Su obra se mueve entre la memoria personal y la memoria política, con una prosa que combina precisión narrativa, imaginación y una mirada crítica sobre los silencios del pasado reciente. Fernández no escribe para decorar la historia, sino para hurgarla: dictadura, infancia, miedo y ficción se cruzan con naturalidad incómoda, como debe ser.

Entre sus libros más conocidos se encuentran Marciano, Space Invaders y La dimensión desconocida, novela que consolidó su proyección internacional. Esta última le valió el Premio Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, reconocimiento clave de la literatura en lengua española. En 2023 recibió además el Premio Nacional de Literatura de Chile, confirmando una trayectoria que ha sabido unir riesgo formal, compromiso ético y una notable capacidad para convertir lo íntimo en una pregunta colectiva.

Claudia Hernández (San Salvador, July 22, 1975) is a Salvadoran writer known for her literary exploration of violence and gender inequalities in El Salvador. With a degree in Communications and Public Relations from the Technological University of El Salvador, she has dedicated her career to fiction writing and teaching writing.

Her work includes six short story books and three novels, among which stand out Roza, tumba, quema (2017), El verbo J (2018) and Tomar tu mano (2021). This last novel is part of a trilogy that addresses the female experience in the context of post-war Salvadoran, focusing on the figure of the wife as protagonist. The narrative is characterized by its choral structure, where women have no names, reflecting the invisibility and daily suffering they face.

Hernández has been internationally recognized for her literary work. In 2004, she received the Anna Seghers Foundation award from Germany, given to young authors whose work contributes to the development of more just and tolerant societies. In 2007, she was selected for Bogotá 39, an initiative that highlights 39 Latin American writers under the age of 39.

Currently, Claudia Hernández continues to be an influential voice in Latin American literature, offering a critical and profound look at the social and gender realities in her country.

Ana Paula Maia (Nova Iguaçu, 1977) is a Brazilian writer and screenwriter known for her direct style and focus on male characters in marginal professions.
