Synopsis "Where Sea Meet Sand"

Ian Brandt and his two college roommates, Rick Cody and Steve James take a post college graduation trip to Key West where Ian meets attorney Mark Starnes. After twenty-one years together, Ian sits in his garden facing the overwhelming reality of being alone after Mark's sudden death. He is uncertain if he has the strength to move forward without him. But with the help of good friends and a life filled with wonderful memories of his time with Mark and with his two best friends, he moves through his grief and embraces his new reality in Charlotte, North Carolina and later in Key West, Florida. After meeting Miguel, the pool boy from next door and later his own pool boy, Eric, Ian's life becomes radically different than the predictable life he had shared with Mark. There is great love, momentous passion and tragic deceit. The receipt of several diaries leads Ian and Rick to San Francisco to settle a murder mystery but what they find is significantly more than expected. The story follows the lives of three handsome, strong, independent and devoted college friends for twenty-five years as they navigate their way through great loves, tragic losses and lasting friendships.
