Throughout her career, Dreser has primarily cultivated children's stories, earning various distinctions. Her work Manuela color canela received the A la Orilla del Viento Award in 1993, while El sol de Albarranes won the First Prize for Children's Stories from IMSS in 1984
In addition to her literary work, she has been a contributor to newspapers and cultural magazines, and her works have been selected for educational programs in Mexico and other countries. She has participated in collective books such as Todos los caminos del agua (2009) and Cielo de relámpagos (2009)
Currently, she resides in Cuernavaca, Morelos, where she continues her work as a writer and reading promoter.
