Ferdinand Beyer
Ferdinand Beyer (July 25, 1803 - May 14, 1863) was a German pianist and composer, primarily recognized for his contribution to piano pedagogy. His most notable work is the "Preparatory Piano School, Op. 101", published in 1851, which consists of 106 progressive exercises intended for beginners to develop technical and musical skills. This method has been fundamental in the training of pianists and continues to be used in piano teaching.

In addition to his pedagogical work, Beyer composed various pieces and arrangements, although many of them did not achieve the same notoriety as his educational method. His focus on simplicity and musical accessibility has left a lasting imprint on musical education, establishing him as a key figure in the training of pianists.
