American author known for her Hunting Jack the Ripper saga, a series of gothic thrillers
Maniscalco grew up in New York, where she studied Fine Arts before transferring to Communication Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. During her studies, she took courses on criminal justice and science, considering a career as a forensic psychologist, a path she ultimately abandoned to pursue writing
Her first work, Hunting Jack the Ripper, was published in 2016, thus beginning a series under the same name that achieved great success. Also very popular was her Kingdom of the Wicked series, consisting of Kingdom of the Wicked, The Seven Circles of Hell, and The Rise of the Feared.
