María Negroni
Rosario, Argentina, 1951. Poet, narrator, essayist, translator, and academic. She has been awarded the PEN Prize for best book in translation for Iceland and the Guggenheim Fellowship, among other distinctions. In The Unsubmissive Word, a volume published in 2021 by the Directorate of Literature and Reading Promotion of UNAM, a personal selection of her essays on poetry can be found. The Heart of Harm (2021) and The Natural Idea (2024) are her most recent titles.
