René Goscinny

René Goscinny (1926–1977) was a celebrated French scriptwriter and author, known for being the co-creator of the iconic comic book series Asterix, alongside illustrator Albert Uderzo. He also created popular characters like Lucky Luke (with Morris) and Little Nicholas (with Jean-Jacques Sempé). His style is characterized by intelligent humor, historical satire, and wordplay. Goscinny transformed the European comic world, bringing a literary and comedic approach that transcended generations.
