2001-01-12 Energy Efficiency Program for Commercial and Industrial Equipment - Efficiency Standards for Commercial Heating (US Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Office Regulation) (EERE) (2018 Edition) The Law Library presents the complete text of the 2001-01-12 Energy Efficiency Program for Commercial and Industrial Equipment - Efficiency Standards for Commercial Heating (US Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Office Regulation) (EERE) (2018 Edition). Updated as of May 29, 2018 The Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA), as amended, establishes energy efficiency standards for certain commercial heating, air conditioning and water heating products. For some of these products, the Department of Energy (DOE, Department or we) is adopting efficiency standards contained in the new American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE) and Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) Standard 90.1, as revised in October 1999, as uniform national standards. This final rule also identifies other products covered by the recently revised ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-1999 that DOE will analyze further to determine whether more stringent standards are warranted.
