From Bishop George Otto Simms's early gathering of Irish commemorations, through the expanded work of the Rev Brian Mayne and the liturgical richness offered by the Rev Canon Michael Kennedy, the story of Irish Christianity continues to be told through those who carried the Gospel across our island and far beyond it.

This new collection of 41 hymns stands within that same tradition. Written over several years and now brought together for the first time, these texts arise from a deep love for the ancient saints of Ireland-men and women whose courage, creativity, and missionary zeal helped shape Christian communities at home and throughout Europe. Their landscapes remain our landscapes; their wells still spring clear; their stories continue to echo in our own longings for holiness, justice, and compassion.
