John Grisham is the author of forty-eight books that have consecutively become number 1 on the US bestseller lists and have been translated into almost fifty languages. His most recent works include The Guardians, The Reckoning, The Whistler, and The Tumor, which is being adapted as a series by HBO. Grisham has won the Harper Lee Prize for Legal Fiction twice and has been awarded the Library of Congress Prize for American Fiction. When he is not writing, Grisham serves on the board of directors of the Innocence Project and Centurion Ministries, two organizations dedicated to exonerating wrongly convicted people.
