Synopsis "A Work of Art"

Widowed, after decades of true love, Samuel Tillman falls into a pit of despair. Alarmed, his three adult children attempt to extract him from his misery. They send him on a two month tour which includes an art course in Sedona, Arizona followed by a nude photography course. The itinerary includes six weeks in an art studio located in the charming seaside village of Cassis, France. Unknown to his children, Sam meets six women, of various ages, who are fascinated about his forthcoming trip to France. At his invitation, they agree to join him in Cassis. Each selects a week and sets expectations about what 'modeling' means. Expectations seldom equate to reality. Sam is desperate to once again find true love. He is caring, sensitive and very naïve. His search for true love is complicated when his old fashioned values interact with his contemporary models. The search becomes even more complex as each woman finds their self-image morphing into a 'new' person. Sam does not demand nudity, but he does demand the 'truth'. He needs the real woman to surface, to let loose of restraints and constraints so he can capture the rarely exposed beauty he knows resides within. When captured by camera or on canvas, each model must deal with their own reality as they see themselves for the first time as A Work of Art.
