Kyle Wayland has been suffering for twenty years after experiencing the horrors of living next to a Civil War 'death house.' Ronald Sing had gotten lost while traveling to Pennsylvania for a job interview. When he was in his early 20s, he stumbled upon an abandoned township. The only problem was that it wasn't actually abandoned. For 15 years, he struggled with the fear that the cult members who failed to kill him would one day find him to finish the ritual.

On a stupid dare, Vanessa Sheffield had gone to a hidden trail in the woods with her friends to investigate a local urban legend. After surviving the horrible ordeal that killed her friends, she handled her trauma with endless amounts of drugs, partying, and sex. 

Carrie Marsh, however, became extremely religious in hopes that God would protect her from the evil that was unleashed from a cursed talisman. She never breaks the rules. She scolds and judges those around her who 'sin.' She doesn't have any friends due to her unpleasant behavior. She's also tired of people calling her a 'Karen.' She has to admit, she's pretty lonely living like this.

Scott and Alan Portner are the only survivors of a blood curse that brutally killed every member of their bloodline. Scott worked out at the gym to vent his frustrations and trauma. Alan, however, has been stuck in a psychiatric hospital for years.

Not only do the survivors have to cope with the past, but now strange and unexplainable things start to happen to them again.
