Ana Punset (Tarragona, 1981) is a Spanish writer specialized in children's and young adult literature. She studied Audiovisual Communication at Pompeu Fabra University and completed a master's degree in Writing for Film and Television at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Her career began in cultural journalism, collaborating with media such as El Diari de Tarragona. Her leap into literature was meteoric with the series The Red Sneakers Club (2013-2016), which sold more than half a million copies.

Punset has consolidated her presence in the children's genre with series like Unicornia (since 2022), focused on early reading, and Unicorn Rescuers (since 2024), both illustrated by Diana Vicedo. Other notable titles include Best Friends Forever (2018) and New York Academy (2019). Her work has been widely disseminated in the Spanish-speaking world.
