Becoming a disciple of Karma Rinpoche brought me to the House of Love for Slow Angels, a place for kids with cerebral palsies to get free but systematic training as well as free food, and got to know a group of people living in a totally different world from mine, a world of hope and despair and utter poverty as well as persistence and perseverence, with "Elder Sister" Yao as the head of the House. A trip to begin my volunteer teaching to kids with normal intelligence created an opportunity for me to get acquainted with Mr. Hu, a young man who was giving free psychilogal counselling to the parents and grandparents with cerebral palsies. The question and answer episode provided me with a golden chance to see the great wisdom and penetrating insight and boundlesst love of Mr. Hu for the kids of misfortunes. The noon chat between "Elder Sister" Yao and Mr. Hu and me shed light on the source of her love for kids with cerebral palsies, which filled me with respect for "Elder Sister" Yao. The afternoon lecture by Mr. Hu further betrayed his boundless love and concern for the special group of kids. These two people are really great souls in our life.Tthe Volunteers' Day organized by the Tibetan Buddhists Under Changlie Temple near the conclusion of the Chinese Lunar Year 2018 brought me more chances to know about the causes of the cerebral palsies and the hard lives the parents had undergone in the past few years, and their persistence, and responsibility, aroused in me profound respect. They are great souls. And all the froups of people who have come to donate goods and moeny to these wretched people to help them survive are really great souls, too.
