Nacido en Glasgow y residente en Edimburgo, estudió Comunicación Visual e Ilustración en el Edinburgh College of Art. Desde su graduación se ha dedicado a crear e ilustrar libros álbum, utilizando principalmente técnicas y materiales tradicionales sobre papel.

Desde pequeño escribe historias y dibuja, una forma que encuentra para comprender y explicar el mundo.
