Tiffany D. Jackson is an American author known for her young adult fiction novels that tackle complex social issues. Her debut work, Allegedly (2017), tells the story of a teenager accused of murder in her childhood, and was nominated for the NAACP Image Award. In 2018, she published Monday's Not Coming, focused on the disappearance of a young girl, which earned her the John Steptoe New Talent Award from the Coretta Scott King.

In 2019, Jackson released Let Me Hear a Rhyme, set in the world of rap in Brooklyn, followed by Grown (2020), which addresses exploitation in the music industry. Her foray into the horror genre came with White Smoke (2021), a novel about a haunted house. Additionally, she co-wrote Blackout (2021) and Whiteout (2022), and published the children's book Santa in the City (2021). Jackson holds a degree in film from Howard University and has worked for over a decade in the television and film industry.
