Booze and Bedlam
Jennifer Carter (Author) · Jennifer Carter · Paperback
One moment he was there, and the next he was gone.
Declan lost his Omega at the New Year's Eve party, and though he tore through the crowded rooms searching for him, the mysterious man had vanished without a trace. The bigger problem? He's never actually met his Omega. Never even spoken to him, but that doesn't stop his Alpha instincts from spiraling out of control, sending him tumbling down a rabbit hole of depression and obsessive longing that threatens to consume him entirely.
Weeks pass in a gray haze of searching and disappointment. Declan begins to wonder if he imagined the whole thing. If that intoxicating scent of Shirley Temple sweetness was just a cruel trick his mind played on him. That is, until Gage, Declan's best friend and eternal optimist, drags him out to a St. Patrick's Day party at the bar where Gage's cousin works.
And something... fate, destiny, or maybe just dumb luck... must be looking out for Declan, because that's exactly where he picks up his Omega's scent again.
Now, bring in Augustine, a wild, chaotic force of nature who refuses to be tied down by any Alpha, no matter how persistent. He wants to live his best life doing whatever the hell he wants, answering to no one. He won't settle for some overbearing Alpha trying to control him, and he sure as hell won't submit to anyone.
Can Declan tame his wild Omega, or will Augustine keep running circles around him until Declan's dizzy? Does Declan even want to tame him, or will he learn that loving Augustine means embracing the beautiful chaos? Time will tell if Declan can be the Alpha Augustine needs, and if Augustine can be the Omega Declan deserves. Though, honestly, I'm more curious about who's actually going to end up submitting in this relationship, but that might just be me.
