Choir singers, like any other voice professionals who use their voice without knowledge, that is, without proper care, may experience some type of vocal symptom such as hoarseness and voice failure, for example. This study aimed to correlate vocal symptoms and their possible causes, according to gender and vocal classification, in a group of choir singers in the city of São Paulo.
