Synopsis "Couleurs de L'incendie - Edition Film (in French)"

Pierre Lemaitre (Paris, 1951) is a French writer and screenwriter known for his talent in crime fiction and historical narrative. With a nimble, psychological style full of tension, he has captured the attention of both readers and critics. He began his career with the series featuring detective Camille Verhoeven, but gained international projection with The Great Swindle, a novel set after World War I that earned him the prestigious Goncourt Prize in 2013. Among his most notable works are Irene, Alex, Rosy & John, Inhuman Resources, and the historical trilogy that continues with The Colors of the Fire and The Mirror of Our Sorrows. Lemaitre has masterfully blended intrigue, social critique, and psychological depth in stories that leave a mark on his readers.
