Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Kunst - Fotografie und Film, Note: 1,0, Universität Kassel (Kunsthochschule Kassel), Veranstaltung: Film in der Nachgeschichte zu Deleuze s Zeitbild, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: David Lynchs Filme gelten allgemein als künstlerisch anspruchsvoll und werden häufig als kontrovers, oder sogar als bizarr bis verstörend bezeichnet. Obwohl er mit vielen seiner Filme Erfolg hatte, ist für sein komplettes Werk nichts bezeichnender als die drei Filme "Lost Highway", "Mulholland Drive" und "Inland Empire". Als letzter Film erschien "Inland Empire" 2007 in den Kinos und wurde gleich zu Anfang mit "Mulholland Drive" verglichen. Schlie lich scheinen sich beide Filme des selben Prinzips zu bedienen, das der mehreren Ebenen und verwaschenen Übergängen. David Lynch selber bezeichnete "Mulholland Drive" auch als eine Art Pendant zu "Inland Empire". Einige Kritiker gehen soweit und betrachten diese beiden Werke zusammen mit Lost Highway als eine Art Trilogie. Auf diese Theorie möchte in der Hausarbeit Bezug nehmen.
