Death on the Pont Du Gard - David G. Hennessey

A body beneath the ancient arches of the Pont du Gard looks like a tragic accident-until detective Grace Whitmore uncovers a pattern that has repeated once a year for three years. As a silent town closes ranks and the next anniversary approaches Grace must read the clues hidden in instinct, memory, and stone itself to stop a killer who has waited patiently to strike again. But when justice is finally revealed beneath the bridge, Grace is already being drawn toward her next case - one that begins with a stranger in the Piazza San Marco.
