A separate, comprehensive study offers the first systematic reconstruction of his intellectual profile, examining his contributions to philosophy, biography, and scholarly writing, as well as his methods, sources, and style. By reassessing both the ancient evidence and modern interpretations, the book redefines Hieronymos’ place within the Peripatos and in the broader context of Hellenistic intellectual culture.
