Jamie Sams (1951) is an American writer and painter of Cherokee, Seneca, and French descent, residing in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Granddaughter of Seneca writer Twyla Nitsch, she has dedicated her life to preserving and sharing the wisdom of Native American traditions.

Among her most notable works is "Medicine Cards" (1988), co-written with David Carson, a divination method based on the wisdom of North American indigenous peoples. Another significant work is "Sacred Path Cards" (1990), which delves into native spiritual teachings. Both belong to the genre of spirituality and personal growth, focusing on the connection with nature and self-knowledge.
