Florencia Bonelli was born on May 5, 1971 in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. She studied Economics and dedicated herself to public accounting, a career she abandoned after reading The Sheik by Edith Hull, a book that drove her to professionally pursue writing in 1999.
Her duology "Indias blancas" (2005) and her trilogy "Caballo de fuego" (2011) positioned her as one of the most popular novelists not only in Argentina but throughout Latin America.
Her books have been translated into several languages and have won the admiration of readers around the world, with whom she maintains a close and personal connection through social networks and at her book signings and presentations. Florencia maintains that "my readers have been the great architects of the reality I live today. Thanks to them, because they recommend my books, give them as gifts, lend them, I can dedicate myself to what I love, writing".
