Yoshihiro Ikeda is the winner of the 2019 Japan Memory Championship and the first Japanese to win the World Memory Grand Master. When he discovered the art of memory, he became interested in memory capacity and participated in the Japan Memory Championship. Although he participated for the first time when he was over forty years old, he won after ten months of training. Until 2019, he has participated six times and has won every time. In 2013, he won the World Memory Grand Master in London. Currently, his mission is to contribute to improving "brain power" of people, including memory. He has worked in radio and television, and has written several books. He is the technical director of the Active Brain Association and ambassador of Life Kinetic Japan.
