Pablo Bernasconi (Buenos Aires, August 6, 1973) is a prominent Argentine graphic designer and illustrator, known for his unique style and social commitment. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), where he also taught for six years.

Since 1998, Bernasconi has worked as an illustrator in various international media, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Times, and The Daily Telegraph, as well as in Argentine publications such as Clarín and La Nación. His work has been translated into more than ten languages and has been exhibited in more than twenty group and solo shows in countries such as Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Bolivia, the United States, Slovakia, Italy, and England.

As a complete author, he has published more than 30 children's books, including El brujo, el horrible y el libro rojo de los hechizos, El diario del Capitán Arsenio, El zoo de Joaquín, and Animalísimo, in addition to more than 10 picture books for adults, such as Retratos and Finales. His style is characterized by the use of collage and other mixed techniques, creating images that invite reflection and visual play.

Bernasconi has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Zena Sutherland Award for Best Children's Book of the Year for El diario del Capitán Arsenio in 2006, and was shortlisted for the Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2018. Additionally, he has collaborated with organizations such as UNICEF, Greenpeace, and Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo, reflecting his commitment to social causes through his art.

Currently, he resides in San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina, where he continues to develop his work and share his passion for illustration and design.
