Caroline Jayne Church was a renowned British author and illustrator specialized in children's literature, particularly in books for toddlers and preschoolers. She studied graphic design in London and worked in various fields of illustration before focusing on creating children's books. Among her most notable works are I Love You Through and Through (2005), How Do I Love You? (2008), You Are My Sunshine (2011), and Good Night, I Love You (2012). Her style is characterized by tender and expressive illustrations that capture everyday moments with great sensitivity

In 2015, she published I Am a Big Brother and I Am a Big Sister, books that address the arrival of a new family member from the perspective of older siblings. These works have been praised for their ability to help children adapt to family changes, using rhymed texts and charming drawings. Her legacy continues in children's literature, with her books being valuable tools for parents and educators in the emotional development of the little ones.
