Gabriela Exilart was born in Mar del Plata. She is a writer, lawyer, and professor at the Faculty of Law of the National University of Mar del Plata (UNMDP). She published the novels Storms of the Past, Rebirth from the Rubble, Jet Black Strokes, With the Heart to the South, For the Spilled Blood, Napalpí. Caught in the Wind, In the Sands of Gijón, Secrets at Dawn, The Whisper of Women, and Drive. She received the Alfonsina Award (2018), Universum Donna 2nd Edition (2019), Sea Wolf for Sports and Culture (2019), and a First Mention for her story "The Red Bicycle" (2020). In October 2022, she was declared "Outstanding Neighbor" by the Municipality of General Pueyrredón for her contribution to culture. She coordinates workshops on creative writing and novel writing.
