Heinrich Joseph Dominicus Denzinger (1819-1883), was a German Catholic theologian, Jesuit, author of The Magisterium of the Church, known simply as "Denzinger". Published in 1854, the work has been reissued over more than a century in more than forty successive editions continuously revised and amended by specialists.
