Obwohl es sich bei der von uns verwendeten Enzymimmunoassay-Technik um die erste Generation handelt, bleibt unsere Studie wichtig (25, 26, 27). Unsere Arbeit an 52 Patienten, bei denen 92 HRT-Tests mit Levothyroxin und einer Kombination von Levothyroxin und Trijodthyronin durchgeführt wurden, ermöglichte es uns in der Tat, den optimalen Hormonhaushalt zu bewerten. Die Dosis, die das TSH-Delta in eine Zone mit bekannter Euthyreose bringt (4 bis 20 Mikro-IU/ml (IRMA)), betrug 111,84 + 31,33 Mikrog/d; 72,75 + 7,5 Mikrog/m /d; 1,84 + 0,53 Mikrog/kg/d. Doch selbst wenn das Delta-TSH unter Levothyroxin oder einer Kombination von Levothyroxin und Triiodthyronin (1,06 + 1,13 Mikro-IU/ml) weniger als 4 Mikro-IU/ml (1,03 + 1,47 Mikro-IU/ml) beträgt, ohne dass ein signifikanter Unterschied zwischen den Delta-TSH-Mittelwerten dieser beiden Gruppen besteht, fanden wir keine Veränderung des Cholesterins oder der Herzfrequenz, abgesehen von einer schwachen negativen Korrelation (r: 0,105) zwischen Herzfrequenz und Delta-TSH von weniger als 4 Mikro-IU/ml, wenn Levothyroxin und Trijodthyronin kombiniert wurden.
