Synopsis "I'd Rather Have Cancer"

Author Stephen Butterman is back! Now, victorious over cancer, something else has afflicted him! Little did he know that curing cancer would affect something else, his heart! No not the loving part, the organ, the muscle, the thing in his body that ticks on and keeps everything else going! The heart that pumps his life force, the blood that soars through his veins has been damaged by the chemotherapy that chased away his cancer! His conclusion? "I'd rather have cancer!" His humor is still evident in this book, and he has not stopped fighting! Feeling that a failing heart is far less glamorous than a fight against cancer, and probably being right about this, he sets out to find his way on yet another journey through his life. You might say his conclusion is to live until you die, remember and relish the past, and have as good a time as possible while you are here on this earth! Illustrations for this book 'sequel' are by Adam Frizzell.
